Northstar Mobile Terms of Service 1. Acceptance and scope By accessing, registering for, or using Northstar Mobile, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. You must have authority to enter into and perform them and are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. If you use the service for a business, team, or another party, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that party. Rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded remain unaffected. 2. Nature of the service Northstar Mobile provides temporary or time-limited numbers, SMS receipt, ordering, renewal, search, forwarding, and related technical services. A number is not sold as your permanent property. We do not promise permanent exclusivity, indefinite renewal, or receipt from every sender, country, carrier, short code, verification service, or content type. A number may be released, disabled, or reassigned after expiry or termination or when an upstream provider withdraws it. 3. Account security You must keep account information accurate and protect passwords, API keys, webhooks, email settings, and multi-factor credentials. Orders, renewals, SMS requests, and other actions made by your credentials, systems, staff, customers, scripts, or integrations are treated as authorised by you. If you detect misuse, stop the affected integration promptly and report it through the support function available in your account. 4. Orders, delivery, and availability Inventory, price, country, duration, and capabilities may change in real time. An order is delivered when a number is allocated and shown in the account or delivered through the API. Before purchase you must verify the intended use, country, duration, price, and technical requirements, and you should test promptly after delivery. Some senders refuse virtual, rented, or previously used numbers, and carriers may delay, filter, or block messages; those outcomes do not by themselves mean the number is wholly unusable. 5. Prices, balance, and commission Orders and renewals deduct the price shown at confirmation from the purchase balance. Purchase balance is for orders and renewals and is not withdrawable or convertible into withdrawable commission unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Where supported, commission may be transferred into purchase balance; purchase balance cannot be transferred into commission. The sender bears network fees and losses caused by an incorrect blockchain network or address. 6. Refund policy A successfully delivered number is generally non-refundable. No refund is due for a change of mind, non-use, partial message failure, delay, sender rejection, expired codes, regional restrictions, customer configuration, webhook or email failure, third-party outage, number reputation, or a particular website declining the number. Only where a number is completely unable to receive any SMS during prompt and reasonable testing, and the issue is not caused by your configuration, sender restrictions, network failure, rule violation, or abuse, will Northstar Mobile review verifiable records. If confirmed, Northstar Mobile may choose to restore service, replace the number with an equivalent, issue service credit, or provide a refund where mandatory law requires it. 7. Abuse, complaints, and carrier bans You must not request an abnormal volume of messages in a short period, repeatedly trigger verification codes, conduct bulk account creation or number farming, harass, defraud, spam, evade platform or sender limits, infringe rights, or engage in conduct likely to cause complaints, risk controls, or carrier bans. You are responsible for usage frequency, purpose, local rules, and the conduct of your downstream users. The buyer bears any suspension, filtering, complaint, investigation, charge, loss, ban, or loss of future use caused by such conduct. Northstar Mobile may immediately restrict or terminate service, and affected orders receive no refund, replacement, or after-sales compensation, except for rights that law does not permit to be excluded. 8. Lawful and compliant use You may not use the service for unlawful activity, infringement, unauthorised access, evasion of identity or risk controls, collection of other persons' accounts, malicious content, or harm to the platform, carriers, senders, or third parties. You are responsible for required consent, notice, and authority and for rules relating to messaging, privacy, marketing, consumer protection, sanctions, and export controls. Northstar Mobile may request use-case information and apply reasonable risk controls. 9. Third-party dependencies and changes The service depends on carriers, number suppliers, cloud infrastructure, networks, blockchains, email, and security services. Northstar Mobile does not control every third-party policy, coverage area, filtering rule, maintenance event, or outage and may change routing, suppliers, functions, limits, or maintenance arrangements when reasonably necessary. We take reasonable steps to operate the service and preserve available records but do not promise uninterrupted or delay-free operation or fitness for every specific purpose. 10. Suspension, termination, and expiry Northstar Mobile may suspend accounts, APIs, forwarding, withdrawals, renewals, or number use for non-payment, abnormal risk, suspected abuse, complaints, security incidents, legal demands, third-party restrictions, or breach of these terms, and may require verification or remediation. You are responsible for renewing before expiry; inventory or upstream restrictions can make renewal unavailable. Termination does not remove fees, liabilities, or indemnity obligations already incurred. 11. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Northstar Mobile is not liable for sender rejection, carrier filtering, third-party interruption, indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or opportunity, loss of data or accounts, or consequences of your failure to use reasonable security. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, aggregate liability for the event is limited to the amount actually paid for the affected order giving rise to the claim, except for fraud, deliberate illegality, or liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting. 12. Updates Northstar Mobile may update these terms when the service, risks, suppliers, or applicable rules change. Updated text applies to subsequent use after publication; material changes will be highlighted in the account where reasonably practicable. Continued use means acceptance. If you disagree, stop placing new orders and manage existing numbers until their current term ends.
