Northstar Mobile Privacy Policy 1. Scope This policy explains how Northstar Mobile processes information when providing accounts, numbers, SMS, orders, recharges, renewals, forwarding, security, and support functions. By using the service you acknowledge this processing. 2. Information processed We process account identifiers, login and security records, language and time-zone preferences, orders and numbers, SMS sender, recipient, body and time, webhook and email delivery status, API request metadata, recharge and ledger records, public blockchain transactions, device, browser, IP, cookies, risk signals, audit events, and support records. Do not place sensitive information unrelated to the service in messages or support content. 3. Purposes Information is used to create and secure accounts, allocate and renew numbers, receive and forward messages, process orders and balances, reconcile blockchain recharges, provide APIs, diagnose failures, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce limits, handle disputes, meet record and security duties, and improve reliability and usability. 4. SMS content SMS bodies may contain verification codes or other private content. Northstar Mobile processes content only to receive, display, retrieve, forward, secure, diagnose, and meet legal duties. Customers must restrict access and select trusted webhook or email destinations; the customer and destination are responsible after delivery. Staff access to message bodies should be permission-controlled and audited. 5. Automated security Login and sensitive actions may use captchas, Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits, device and network signals to identify automation or abnormal access. This can include IP, User-Agent, TLS or browser characteristics, site identifiers, and verification results. Security decisions may require extra verification, delay, restrict, or reject a request. 6. Payments and blockchains Recharge and balance records are used to reconcile payment and service. Blockchain addresses, transaction hashes, amounts, and times exist on public ledgers and cannot be deleted from the blockchain by Northstar Mobile. Do not send to an incorrect network or address or add unnecessary personal information to transaction notes. 7. Sharing and processors To deliver the service, necessary information may be processed by number and telecom suppliers, cloud and database infrastructure, content-delivery and security services, email providers, blockchain nodes, monitoring, and required professional services. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to deliver, protect, dispute, or comply. Selling personal information is not our business model. 8. Retention Orders, accounting, audit, and security records are retained for business integrity, dispute handling, and legal requirements. SMS bodies are retained for the published or configured period and may then be cleared while minimal delivery and audit metadata remains. Expired backup data is removed through backup rotation. Public blockchain records are outside platform deletion control. 9. International processing Suppliers, carriers, customers, or senders may be in different countries, so information may be transferred and processed across borders. Northstar Mobile uses available contractual, security, and access safeguards, but rules differ by location. Customers must not use the service to evade their own transfer and transparency obligations. 10. Security We use reasonable access controls, encrypted transport, key management, auditing, rate limits, backups, and monitoring. No system is absolutely secure. Customers must protect accounts, API keys, and destinations, revoke exposed credentials promptly, and avoid forwarding SMS content into systems they do not control. 11. Choices and rights You can correct some account data, adjust language and notifications, disable optional forwarding, and view available records in the account. Other access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection requests may be submitted through the account support function. Accounting integrity, security, fraud prevention, disputes, backups, or law may require retaining some records. Available rights depend on location and context. 12. Updates Northstar Mobile may update this policy when services, suppliers, uses, or rules change. Published updates take effect for later processing, and material changes will be highlighted in the account where reasonably practicable.
